Kokeshi featured in French ‘One Day in Dubstep’ Documentary

Friday, June 4th, 2010

Thanks to my new friends at Street Off for stopping by Cafe 1001 in London to interview me for their documentary about the London dubstep scene. It was cool that our wee gig for K Mag was showcased among the massive FWD night at Matter. Also shouts to my gals Flight and Miss Pink and of course the legend that is Youngsta who also make an appearance while they’re working away selling dubstep vinyl at BM Soho. Click the image below to go straight to the film.

Kokeshi @ Bar Knowledge review & thanks!

Monday, May 10th, 2010

Shouts to Colin and Rachel at K Mag for giving us the platform to do our thing..It was great to see Colin as I think the last time we saw eachother was maybe the Knowledge awards in Hammersmith..wow ages ago!

Thanks to Lung who trekked all the way from Cardiff to do his debut London set.. Thanks to Irrelevant who always supports Kokeshi and is so patient in waiting for his
releases on Kokeshi..soon come. Check his stuff out here …http://www.youtube.com/user/irrelevantsounds

I do love Cafe 1001 and it was nice to play there with the improved sound system and lighting.

Shouts to the guys yelling ‘Nicky Blackmarket’ while I was playing..always an ego boost to hear chants for other djs while you’re playing. Woot!

Kokeshi…we do our thing…

Bring on the next one!
