Kompilation Album Launch at Fabric
Our 3rd event at Fabric and it’s time to celebrate !
The first time we’ve had this particular lineup, should be a good one
The long-awaited Kokeshi Kompilation is finally on it’s way.
There were tunes featured on the Kokeshi ((pod)) kasts over the last 3 years that Kokeshi
fell in love with. You will find most are unrelased tunes, with a couple faves thrown in for
good measure. More infos below…..
London-based Kokeshi’s second full-length album comes in the form of Kompilation. Inspired by and taken from the
Kokeshi pod kasts, the project showcases music from those mixes. A journey across BPMs, there are cinematic
tracks from the likes of Kokeshi newcomers Box Mouse and The SubDivision, future-garage jams
from Irrelevant and Bulb, bass-deep dubstep from Lung, Nanobyte, Odyssia and Alley Cat and some
future-meets-trip-hop beats from Black Sun Empire. Fave remixes by Calibre
and Kryptic Minds bind the album together.
The digipack CD comes with artwork designed by Brighton-based collage artists Curs3s.
Digital downloads offer a bonus track and a full-mixed version of the album is offered when you buy the complete download.
Surus offers a mixed-version bonus CD when you buy the unmixed CD.
For the vinyl lovers the album sampler is out now on purple vinyl with bespoke clear plastic sleeves.
To celebrate the release Kokeshi is doing an album launch at Fabric in London on 5th October with Calibre, Alley Cat,
